PA Author Featured On UNSOLVED MYSTERIES
West Virginia, November, 1966. For thirteen months, the sleepy town of Point Pleasant was imprisoned by a real-life nightmare that ended when the Silver Bridge collapsed and took forty-six souls. Mysterious lights ruled the night skies. Domestic animals and pets disappeared or were found mutilated. Sinister Men In Black terrorized innocents unlucky enough to stumble across the paranormal. There was more. Described as man-like and over six feet tall. The red glowing eyes seem to have been more terrifying than either the stature of the creature or the ten-foot span of its wings. Witnesses reported feeling an uncontrollable, indescribable terror. They called it MOTHMAN.

This true story of unexplained terror became John Keel's classic "The Mothman Prophecies" (recently reprinted by Tor Books) and is now the basis of a motion picture by the same name starring Richard Gere and Laura Linney.

On Monday, July 29th, UNSOLVED MYSTERIES (Cosgrove/Meurer Productions) will investigate the Mothman mystery on the Lifetime television network. Check your local listings. New to the Publish America family, but longtime author and investigative researcher, Robert A. Goerman will be interviewed. Born March 3, 1952, Goerman is a native of New Kensington, Pennsylvania. His writings have appeared in national magazines and served as source material for several popular books on the paranormal. Lifetime's UNSOLVED MYSTERIES, A&E's THE UNEXPLAINED, and HISTORY'S MYSTERIES on the History Channel have featured his investigative research.

Goerman's literary debut in Publish America is HIMMLER'S WAR.
