Starshine Sea: Map to Draco
by Kelly Beck
The stars aren’t what they seem…
Though Thesis has looked on them with his grandfather many times, he never imagined that an adventure has been planned among them. Several events lead Thesis to use a Fornax key and enter the Starshine Sea. When the key is stolen from him, he meets a human boy who abruptly changes Thesis’ name and encourages him to venture among the constellations that lie in the foundations of this sea. After receiving help from the wise old bear Ursa and hunting for his stolen key, Thesis returns the favor of help to the boy and struggles with the protector of the constellation Draco, searching for the Lost Shield of Orion. Later, Thesis learns that he is following in the footsteps of his grandfather. Well, maybe “footsteps” is the wrong word, for neither Thesis nor any members of his family have feet.
