Ahriman's Mirror
by Dawn M. Peterson
In one brief moment of blind rage, Jacob Alexander Pelchaire crossed the line from troubled teen to murderer. His parents murdered because of their mixed religious background, Jacob was lucky enough to escape Northern Ireland, his crime undiscovered.
Years later, Jake found himself being given a chance to make up for what he’d done, though as it turned out, not from the divine source he’d once thought he’d prayed to. All he would have to do was play an evil creature’s game.
Jake’s god had not abandoned him, though, and to his aid God sent an unlikely pair—Alex, an old man with an awesome secret, and Daniel Makepeace, his Indian guide, who was doing penance for his own past transgressions. They must somehow help Jake see the truth, before the game has ended and the evil creature takes its prize.
