This is a wonderful story that chronicles a young woman, 12 years old, as the heroine. It is fun, easy reading. All girls should be able to relate to McKenna's fears and courage as she grows into the protector of her family. Hopefully they will see themselves as strong and able too. We can't wait to see the next book in this series. A must read!!--Debra, New York
